In areas where existing networks are deficient or in instances in which WIN’s
market experience reveals quality physicians who would be an asset to the
network, WIN would work to expand the network. Because WIN is able to attract
premier, nationally known obstetricians and reproductive endocrinologists,
physicians are generally extremely receptive to WIN. In some cases WIN has
succeeded in substantially expanding existing networks after assuming
controlled of network development. WIN’s flexible care management model works
with both existing and new providers. Physicians will recognize WIN’s network
as inclusionary and not exclusionary. This is one of the guiding principals in
WIN’s network development.
